For those of you unfamiliar with our cabins, we have a set of log cabins up in the Northwoods. They are actually part of a former U.S. Forest Service Ranger station. Through an amazing series of God-ordained events we acquired these via an online government auction. Sometime I'll blog about that whole story but for now, take a look at our Memorial weekend fun!

WhooHoooo...those are some awesome times! Looks like you guys are having a blast. Love the honkin' huge fire!
Miss Ya, but glad you're having fun!
Oh, Laura, I wish you would have been there! I ate a gazillion smores for you!
now i get to see what the cabins look like. how cool... The fun you all had can be seen on your faces. What a big girl annie is. All 4 years of her. :)
Now about the smores. Were they the real ones, with hersheys milk chocolate bars or the cheater ones with the fudge stripe cookies?

The real ones of course, with loads of hersheys milk chocolate. If the fire is really hot you can set your chocolate and graham cracker on a rock nearby and it melts while you roast the marshmallow. Mmmmm...I can still taste it.
I've never even heard of cheater s'mores, Sue. Did you invent them?
Oh how I wish I could have been there! Looks like you had a whole lot of fun! Smores sound really good right now!
Dagmar, we want you and your family to be sitting by those campfires with us!
You probably have some amazing recipe that includes marshamallows and chocolate? :)
Yes, I really want to come up this summer! After the pictures even more so! Yeah, I'm sure I could come up with a recipe. : ]
