The start of the journey from outside Kharkov to home. It begins with a drive with 7 people fitting into Vlad's little Skoda. For those that read the Leaving Kharkov post - this was all 'pre-kaka'.
At the Kharkov airport - waiting for our flight and seeing MTV for the first (and maybe last) time.
Both girls did well on the flight - we can only hope the same for Saturday!
The boys tolerated the flight well - not too much fussin' from these two world travelers.by the way - we have renamed Andrew to be Anton and Daniel is now Dimitri.
Emelia's first night with a family - the look on her face says it all.

One has to wonder when you have spent your entire life in an orphanage; what does it feel like to dip your hands into a fountain in the middle of Kiev?Last night we had the priviledge of meeting up with Peter and Lisa DeAngelis. They are a dear family we met through Reeces Rainbow. We are at the end of our time in Ukraine and they are just beginning their adoption of a sweet little girl with Down Syndrome, from the southern part of the country. Interestingly enough their little girls' birth name is also Victoria and they also plan to call her Katie!

Love your pictures! I am so happy for all of you, and just so grateful that two more children will have a family and NOT live in a mental institution, EVER. PTL!

The Shervheim family has changed! What a blessing the Lord has placed on these girls and their new 'forever' family! We are so looking forward to seeing all of you very soon.Have a great trip back home. Our prayers will be with you.

i just love seeing the girls with their FAMILY! everything must be so new and intriguing to them - i love their curiosity:) - i can't WAIT to meet them:)!

Yay! They must be so excited and nervous and confused. I know they're going to love meeting the rest of the crew. I can't wait to see everyone together at last! I know you can't wait.

It is so awesome to see you with your girls and to know you are ALMOST ready to come HOME!

Oh, that has to be the best feeling ever! And htose pics of htem getting dressed to leave? Priceless! And good call on those monkeys, I can't take Reece anywhere without it!!
